Our Challenge

The Mahesh Foundation encountered difficulties due to inadequate space that hindered their ability to accommodate the increasing number of children seeking education. The lack of suitable facilities for vulnerable children had a detrimental impact on their learning experience. Financial limitations made it challenging to allocate funds for the construction of new classrooms, thus necessitating external assistance to provide improved educational opportunities.

Thanks to support from SBI Funds Management, one floor of the New School and Skill Center was constructed at the Utkarsha Learning Center, significantly increasing its capacity to accommodate more than 120 children. These improved facilities not only promoted quality education but also contributed to the holistic development of students. This collaboration substantially broadened access to education for disadvantaged children, empowering them to chase their dreams and overcome the obstacles of poverty.

Our Challenge

Mahesh Foundation is grappling with the challenge of providing quality education to underprivileged children due to overcrowded classrooms and inadequate facilities. The current infrastructure is unable to support the increasing number of students, making it essential to construct a new school. The shortage of space and resources is not only affecting the standard of education but also limiting the foundation’s capacity to reach more children in need. To achieve its mission of delivering accessible, high-quality education, building a new school that can effectively serve 2,000 children is crucial.

To tackle the urgent need for improved educational infrastructure at Mahesh Foundation, we propose a partnership with SBI Funds Management Ltd to support the construction of six classrooms of the new school building. This initiative will directly benefit 300 underprivileged children by easing overcrowding and creating a more conducive learning environment. This contribution will be instrumental in helping Mahesh Foundation provide the quality education every child deserves, paving the way for a brighter future.
