About GIA India Laboratory Pvt. Ltd.

GIA India Laboratory Private Limited (GIA India), a subsidiary of the Gemological Institute of America, Inc. (GIA), has been serving the Indian gem and jewellery industry since 2008 with a state-of-the art grading laboratory in Mumbai. They also offer gemological and jewellery design educational programs. Staffed by a seasoned team of instructors, gemmologists and graders, the Mumbai laboratory and campus caters to the needs of manufacturers, traders and retailers across the country.

Our Challenge

The necessity for a blood collection and transportation vehicle arises from several crucial factors. One of the main concerns is the reliable transport of blood donations from various locations to healthcare facilities. Many healthcare establishments struggle with limited transportation resources, leading to delays and inefficiencies in the collection and delivery of blood supplies. A dedicated vehicle for this purpose aims to ensure that blood donations reach their destinations promptly and efficiently.

GIA India Laboratory Private Limited has supported Mahesh Foundation by providing a dedicated blood collection and transportation vehicle. This vehicle is equipped with specialized features, including blood storage compartments, temperature control systems, and secure packaging. It will be used for mobile blood collection drives and regular donation campaigns in partnership with healthcare facilities, community centers, and educational institutions. The collected blood will be transported efficiently and safely to healthcare facilities, with urgent deliveries prioritized through optimized logistics management.

Our Challenge

At Utkarsha School, we provide digital education facilities for children eager to learn and grow. With the increasing number of students, many of these children face challenges due to limited access to computers and other digital learning resources. In order to help them kick-start their educational journeys and build a brighter future for themselves, we support them by providing facilities such as computers, digital libraries, and interactive learning tools. With the growing number of students, there is an urgent need to expand these computer facilities to reach and empower every child.

With the support of GIA India Laboratory Pvt. Ltd., Mahesh Foundation launched a Mobile Clinic Van to provide accessible healthcare services to underserved communities.
